New keel after being planed
to thickness.
Keel with additional oak
laminations being lowered from loft.
After another move to
the shop below, rib pockets were cut and the keel put in place for a
final check and fitting. It was then removed from the boat and painted
with primer before being positioned and blocked in place for assembly.
With rib pockets completed,
the new keel is fitted to the hull.
After painting, the new
keel is blocked into place for assembly.
