Once the Malabar was finished the next
feat was getting her out of the building after the 2 1/2 year building process.
The trailer was constructed specifically
to fit the Malabar. As shown there are three sets of supports on each
side, specially designed to allow the correct support and to remove it from the
trailer for launch safely.
When the
building process began the door (as seen left) was made large enough so
that upon completion she could fit out through the opening.
Measurements had to be certain in order to allow the exit to go smoothly.
